 At the heart of the Playhouse-in-the-Park are four mainstage shows. Elaborate scenery, state-of-the-art digital lighting and sound and an experienced professional  staff have earned the Playhouse its reputation as the foremost theatre of its kind in the Southeast. From classic family musicals like Cinderella, Peter Pan, Olliver!, The Wizard of Oz and The Sound of Music, to more intense dramas like The Miracle Worker and The Secret Garden, our large-scale productions give the ultimate hands-on training to young actors. The quality and high production values of this work bring the whole community out for the excitement of live family theatre.
The Playhouse-in-the-Park also houses a travelling performance company, Musical Theatre Works and a puppetry troupe, Playhouse Puppets.
