The Playhouse in the Park will stage the first community theatre production of High School Musical in the area this summer! A cast of 65 will bring this new musical to life at the Playhouse every weekend from July 24 - August 16. Friday and Saturday evening shows are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m. Performances will be held at the Playhouse in the Park, 4851 Museum Drive in
Langan
Park.
Tickets are $15.00 for adults and $12.00 for students and senior citizens 65 and older. Make your reservations beginning two weeks before the first performance by calling 602-0630.
The Dancing Princesses Perform July 11
The Playhouse in the Park will present a workshop production of THE DANCING PRINCESSES featuring the theatre’s youngest players. 20 local youth between the ages of 7 and 14 will present one performance on July 11 at 7:00 pm at the Playhouse.
An enchanting version of the Hans Christian Anderson tale, the show is appropriate for ages 5 and up. Tickets are $5.00 and reservations can be made by calling 251.602.0630.

Full Dance Program Coming This Fall
Local choreographer April Smith will teach a full dance program this fall at the Playhouse including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hop Hop, and Gymnastics. There will be a boys only class as well.
