“Annie! - The Musical” in July

“Annie!” is the captivating show for all ages based on the famous comic strip “Little Orphan Annie.” Audiences will delight in the adventures of the fiery young orphan girl whose life goes from rags to riches with her dog Sandy and her wealthy benefactor “Daddy” Warbucks.

The Playhouse in the Park

The Playhouse in the Park has been training young people in theatre arts since 1961.  Over the years, our program has grown to include four large productions a year; a comprehensive training program of drama, dance, vocal, piano, guitar, and scenic art classes; and an elaborate, full-scale puppet theatre.  At the Playhouse-in-the-Park, there is something for everyone of all ages.

The Playhouse In The Park is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated to help provide the highest quality of instruction and performances for the youth of our area.

Summer Musical and Theatre Camps at the Playhouse

Summer Musical Theatre Crafts Camp

For Experienced Theatre/Music Students

For more experienced students, or those that have a strong musical talent, the Playhouse will offer an intense two week camp that focuses on the history, performance techniques and audition" tricks" that students need for a well-rounded introductory training in modern musical theatre.

Three teachers will lead performers through scenes and musical numbers that will enhance their abilities to achieve success on the stage.  The camp runs for two weeks: June 16 - 28, 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Students will be placed by experience and age. Designed for ages 8- 19 years old. $150.00 per week, $275.00 for two.

Summer Dance Camps at the Playhouse-in-the-Park!

Summer Ballet
Contemporary Intensive
July 21-25
(Ages 8-up)

Camp will meet Monday - Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm
Featuring two guest teachers with a concentration on ballet technique, variations, and contemporary combinations.
There will be a showcase on Friday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m. for parents!
Cost: $125.00 per student

Princess Tea Party Dance Camp
July 28 - July 31 (Ages 3-7)

Camp will meet Monday - Thursday from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
Come join us for a Princess Tea Party no one will forget! This camp is designed for our youngest dancers who enjoy ballet, creative movement, and jazz.
The week’s finale will be a princess show and tea party on Thursday, July 31 at 11:00am.

Camp in limited to the first 25 students.  Cost $80.00 per student.
