2009-2010 Season
The Playhouse in the Park will stage the first community theatre production of High School Musical in the area.
A cast of 65 will bring this new musical to life at the Playhouse every weekend from July 24 - August 16. Friday and Saturday evening shows are at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students.
Auditions and performances will be held at the Playhouse in the Park, 4851 Museum Drive in Langan Park.

In October, we will stage the world premiere of local author Thomas Lakeman’s adaptation of Bram Stokers’ Dracula.
Dracula will be presented for school audiences on Friday, October 23, Thursday, October 29, and Friday, October 30 at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.
The public performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 23, Saturday, October 24, Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31 (including costume party!)

In December will be the Playhouse original musical A Christmas Carol will be presented at the Saenger Theatre in Downtown Mobile on following dates:
School Shows are on Thursday, December 3 at 9:00 & 11:30 a.m. and Friday, December 4 at 9:00 & 11:30 am.
The public evening performance will be Friday, December 4 at 7:30 p.m.
Auditions will be held at the Playhouse in the Park, and performances will be at the Saenger Theatre in Downtown Mobile.

In the spring, the Playhouse will present an all-new original staging of the favorite Beauty and the Beast. Watch for exact dates!
